Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has a great location, near many restaurants and tea shops. The room was comfortable but showed signs of wear and cleanliness issues. The owner's attentiveness was a positive highlight, but noise outside late at night was a downside.
The Ardley House is a mixed bag with lovely spacious rooms but an entrance hall in need of some TLC. The service was decent overall. Location-wise, it's noisy due to a busy road but benefits from being near a great Indian restaurant. The dining experience was enjoyable, especially with locally sourced ingredients. Facilities are satisfactory, with some areas needing attention.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms, although comfortable and large, had a strong damp smell, and the karaoke music below was unbearably loud. On the bright side, the staff was apologetic and offered water as a gesture. The location was convenient, but the dining service left much to be desired.
